Andy here, freshly showered at this ungodly hour of morning about to go pick up Edie (who should really fill in her bio) and John (who also needs to) and hit the 1st annual SEX IN VIDEOGAMES CONFERENCE. We really have no idea what's going to be happening there, from what I've heard it'll mostly be talks about how to turn on players etc. etc.... As I said in the podcast previously, I really have no idea how much coverage we'll give this event since we're more of a gaming site than a porn site, and all the press releases we've been getting have been like

....Alright, I made up the part about boobies... But seriously, I feel like i'm walking down a bad alley in Oakland and I got people trying to (at the same time) sell me crack, sell me bootlegs, and mug me.

I have got to hear a report of this thing. Not details like some lecherous old guy salivating at the thought of anything sexual. I'm just naturally curious about things and they relate together. I have a hard time seeing sex AND videogames being something put together and making a good combination

Believe me TwistedFate, I've already tried dozens of times to do what you said, but no luck. I've put my username in the appropriate upper-case and lower-case letters and tried putting in the right password. My password I may have forgotten, I kept using the password I thought I came up with. How about we just avoid the problem of trying to figure out what it is and just give me a new password altogether. You guys got my e-mail address, right? Just contact me so we can get me a new one.
But back on topic, it's sad Andy that you have to have that crime-filled red-light district kind of feeling from being interested in sex in video games. Although I find it a little strange to be looking at polygonal nudity for pleasure, it's up to any of you if you like it. With violence you don't have to feel the same way for some odd reason.
OldSchool, after you miss your password once a screen should come up for another try. At the bottom is a "Forgot Password" link that will email the password you used. Have you tried that yet?
Yes, see the "I forgot my password" button at the bottom. I have tried that TwistedFate and twice, I've been given this message:
"Sorry, but your password cannot be retrieved because your account is currently inactive. Please contact the forum administrator for more information."
Inactive? How the hell do I activate it? It won't even allow me to use the e-mail feature you were talking about to get the password I used. This is starting to get a little old. Been trying to get it up and running for an entire week.
But, once again, back on topic. What was John and Edie at this conference for? Observers or speakers or what? What was their incentive to go? Just curious.
