Hey everybody,
I've got some interesting news for you today.
Yesterday, IGN.com posted an article containing rumored Wii launch dates, pricing, colors, and manufacturing numbers. After being up a few hours the article was pulled. Apparently the source of this information wrote IGN saying that, "I do not wish to go to jail in the morning." But hours later the article, which was now edited, was re-published. HMMMMM... I think this one might actually have a bit of truth behind it...
release date: November 2-12
Price: 229.99 US
Color: black or white
units at launch: original---5.5 million---republished---5 million
Speculation on the reasons behind this debacle after the jump....
So from what I can figure at this point, the leak (if true) obviously comes from an insider. If you read the before and after releases of the article you can clearly see that what was taken out was a description of the hardware and even more interesting , the news that Nintendo is currently working on a gamecube portable, a GCP if you will. So this obviously points to someone on the manufacturing side of the buisness. Most likely a higher up who has the knowledge of what is coming down the line in the next year or two. Especially considering the knowledge of units manufactured. HMMM.... If this is true it looks like we will be seeing the Nintendo Wii alot sooner than I had expected and for a price that I had about figured considering the technology they are using.
Until then,,, I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for more Nintendo News!

News update.
Wii article with no penis jokes.... Are we getting used to the name.
But at that price I'd like to get my hands on a Wii.
It certainly less than I have to pay, for hookers to handle my wii.
