With the recent (but heavily delayed) release of the PSP's v3.0 firmware, it finally looks as though you'll be able to play PS1 games on the move. Sony has stated that, starting tommorow, you will be able to download some, err, classic PS1 games.
Hmmm might be a reason to get a PSP.
I miss wipeout, bushido blade, Silent hill (the first was the best), and RIIIIIIDDDGGGGEEEE RRRAAAACCCEERRRR!
Sorry.
If you think this has been over done, just hit my weak spot for massive damage.
Someone let me know if Sled Storm 1 is on there. That was my game.
While I'm glad you are getting some BC on that thing, don't expect a whole lot of surprise or sympathy from 360 owners still waiting for Oddworld and Psychonauts backwards compatibility.
I've heard that the only way to play PSone games on a PSP is through the PS3, is this true?
That is, as far as I'm aware, true.
Sorry dom, but you sir are incorrect. The PS3 can be used to download/store the PS1 games for it, and games from there being sent to the PSP. But the PSP can also download the games.
I think theres finally an incentive to use my PSP, lets just say PSP games aren't what i was hoping
mmmm very nice. . . . might consider upgrading my psp to the latest version firmware from a more "customizeable" version if this all measures up :)
