Fanboys rejoice! The day of reckoning is upon us!

Starting Monday, Dec. 4, visit http://www.halo3.com, those of you in North America will be able to register for the opportunity to be one of the select members to join the Halo 3 public beta program, scheduled to kick off in spring 2007. This is the first path of entry to participate in the program. Through the resulting feedback, Bungie Studios will be able to further refine and hone the end result of Halo 3.

The bad news is that this is only open to US fans currently. Sorry Brits, looks like no Halo love for you yet. Hopefully they'll open it up to internationals so we can make sure the lag stays good as you cross the pond, eh? So, who's signing up? Let's get a GA clan going in the beta.

UPDATE: Seems in a subsequent press release that there was some missed communciation. The beta will indeed be available for Europeans. Check out our follow-up story here.

Yes, but I know many more of our readers who are brits or americans than those in other countries :) I try to relate the stories to our audience and I know people like Refridgeron and Dante of Smeg are gonna absolutely shit bricks when they see this.
