December 25th is more than just a government sponsored day off, and more than the last chance for major retail chains to make their year end numbers.  Whatever your religious background, there is one thing that has become a tradition, a time for family.

Family is not just blood retaliations, they are people who you feel a closeness to that transcends friendship but isn’t quite in that “Hey what do you look like naked?’ phase.  Family is the laughter, the tears, the fights, it’s many things to many people.

To me, on top of my wife and son, it is everyone from this site.  Thank you for making me laugh, or making me roll my eyes, or making me want to punch your lights out, if that isn’t a sign of family, I don’t know what is.

To the fans, enjoy your day off, enjoy your new systems (if you scored one) but most of all, enjoy the people around you.  These are the people who will be there when everything else goes to hell.
