whatever.jpgFirst, let me purge my stomach. Because actually reporting about SpikeTV on a gaming website -- intimating that they have anything at all to do with each other -- makes me nauseous.

That being said, it should be noted that SpikeTV's Video Game Awards were handed out in a star-studded gala.

You watched, right? Ahahahahahaaaaa... Yeah, me either.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was named game of the year. Yeah. I kid you not.

It garnered four awards for the evening, including best game, best original score, best RPG and most addictive game.

Gears of War nabbed three: best shooter, best graphics and best multiplayer.
